For awhile now there have been two camps of thought concerning how to best help Corporations improve the management of their contingent workforce spending.  At first, there were stand alone VMS (Vendor Management Software/Service) companies that applied technology to this business issue,  Over time the large Staffing firms jumped in and through their MSP (Managed Service Provider) offerings and the acquisition of some of the VMS technology companies, they have been able to effectively help their largest corporate clients better manage the flow of contingent spending.  Who is right and who is wrong ???

Public Reaction to the Book and Concept

We attended five shows in the second half of 2009, and have had positive feedback from introducing both the Human Capital Supply Chains concept and book. Now as we dive into 2010, we’re looking forward to continue spreading the word and the book to more people as it relates to their recruiting software and staffing software.

Most trade show attendees had their attention drawn to our booth because books have a lot of appeal. The best part about talking to people is seeing their reaction.  Many times, people told us they immediately understood the concept. You could tell by the way their faces lit up as the proverbial light bulb lit up as if to say, “I get it! I understand the concept!”  That is because these people understand the theory that applied in manufacturing and other industries, some of whom had personal experience with it.
